We Design Studio, founded in 2011 by Nupur Shah and Saahil Parikh, ‘We’ is an award-winning architectural and interior design studio based in Mumbai. The studio provides holistic and highly customised design solutions for residential and commercial projects. Ascetic in our approach, we focus on creating deceptively simple solutions that are seamless in experience and expression. We have an abiding interest in austerity and simplicity, and believe that there lies an inherent sensuality in building with restraint, order and control. THE BRIEF
To redesign & develop a portfolio based website for the brand
PROPOSED DESIGN
01. HOMEPAGE
Slider based homepage. Upon clicking the hotspot, the text area of the slider disappears to show full screen images with navigation buttons to go onto the next or the previous image. On clicking the hotspot again, the text area reappears.
A heart icon containing social media handles was created to link the brands social media channels.
02. WORK/PORTFOLIO PAGE
A slider based work and portfolio page was created along with a filter feature. On clicking on a filter for year, type (residential or commercial) or category (interiors or architecture), projects that fall within the filter can be viewed.
03. WORK/PORTFOLIO INNER PAGE
The inner pages for the project contain the details of the project, a brief writeup and image provision for various orientations.
05. PRINT + DIGITAL PUBLICATIONS NEWS & COVERAGE
Thumbnail image based page for print & digital publications as well as news articles
A copy of the print publications open up in a browser reader on another tab
Digital news, on the other hand, opens up to the publication’s website where the article was posted.
